SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services #19243-ATS-IV with Doug Langford for Lawson Application Programming Support (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In December 2018, the Board approved an ATS with Doug Lanford to assist with the Infor Inc. Lawson upgrade project. Due to the volume of effort required for the Lawson upgrade project and the need for specialized knowledge of our payroll customizations, additional technical resources are needed to modify district developed custom programs. Doug Langford is one of the original consultants who created the district payroll customizations.  Contracting directly with Doug Langford for this specific need, at a rate of $90 per hour, as compared to Infor’s Technology Specialist III rate of $210 per hour, will result in a cost avoidance of $60,000.

Funds in the amount of $45,000 are included in the Information Technology Department Budget.
EVALUATION
The consultant is under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, IT Business Solutions within the Information Technology Department, who assigns and reviews tasks and priorities on a weekly basis.
