SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Naming of Elementary School "D" (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Elementary School "D" is currently under construction and scheduled to open in August 2020.  Elementary School "D" is located in the Belmont subdivision and the address will be 14150 Gate Dancer Road, Sun City Center, Florida, 33573.  Input for consideration of an official name has been solicited from neighboring schools and the community at large.  The families of neighboring schools were notified by ParentLink, social media, and a community meeting.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The financial impact for this project was included as a portion of the overall budget for the construction project approved by the School Board on September 10, 2019.
