Approve the Memorandum of Agreement Between the University of South Florida (USF) for the Severe Emotionally Disturbed Network Administration Project (Academic Support and Federal Programs)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This Memorandum of Agreement describes the partnership with the USF Board of Trustees, a public body corporate for its US St. Petersburg College of Education's Division of K-16 Educational Initiatives (USFSPCOEK-16).  It represents the intent of the USFSPCOEK-16 administration and faculty and the district to collaborate with youth mental health awareness and services.  
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Develop a culture of respect, trust, collaboration and equity • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $636,469 have been allocated from the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services Budget.
EVALUATION
The district will analyze data collected including staff training records and documentation of implementation to determine the effectiveness of the initiatives.
