Approve the 2020 HCPS Federal Legislative Platform (Government Relations)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The 2020 HCPS federal legislative platform summarizes the district's position on priority issues and policy. The Board approved federal platform serves as the district's official position and is a guide for the Board's advocacy efforts. Government Relations worked with divisional leaders and staff to develop a federal platform that represents key legislative initiatives, and aligns with the district's state legislative platform and strategic plan. The federal platform is a dynamic document, which will be adopted annually and updated as necessary to meet the needs of the district.
