On February 5, 2019, District staff selected Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Charles Perry Partners, Inc. to provide design and construction management services, respectively, through a selection committee. Award was made based upon the score granted by the selection committee.

In an effort to improve the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system as quickly as possible, the project has been divided in two phases. Phase One consisted of partial HVAC equipment replacement. Phase Two of the projects include the replacement of the "airside" HVAC system within the schools and completion of the overall HVAC upgrade.

Approval of the Phase Two GMP will establish the maximum cost for this phase of the project.

Phase Two project substantial completion is currently scheduled for July 31, 2020.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The GMP recommended for approval of Phase Two is $12,737,004, which is in the Sales Tax Referendum fund.
