EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Training a Generation (TAG) was created to be a positive influence for youth all over the country.  My Journey program is an outreach program focusing on academic achievement, drop out prevention, and self-image.  Throughout the program, an emphasis is placed on transitioning, through a combination of innovative seminars, group activities, interactive discussions, and participant's journaling of their journey.

Topics span from Bullying Prevention, Anger Management, Leadership Development, Self-Discovery: Who Are You? Healthy Relationship Building, Goal Setting, Social Media Awareness, See Something-Say Something, and many more topics.  The My Journey program will last for eight consecutive weeks at forty-five minutes per session.  Two separate groups of 10-25 students will benefit from the program.

Dr. Godfrey will provide small group intensive services to pre-identified primary school-aged children in grades K-2.  The students selected have a high frequency of office related referrals and in-school suspension visits.  Dr. Godfrey will provide support to the school-based teachers sharing group strategies and potential next steps.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve Student Achievement • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Continuously improve processes and systems
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $15,750 will be available in the TSSA Grant.
EVALUATION
The goal of Dr. Godfrey's work is to support identified students and provide them with strategies and/or methods that will help them become life-long learners and make appropriate decisions at various times.

The data source to determine effectiveness is office related referrals decreased and in-school suspension visits decreased, for all participants.  Dr. Godfrey is returning to us from last school year.  In addition, he works with Robles Elementary and schools based in Sarasota.  We did see a decrease in office related referrals last year, as well as an increase in attendance for identified students during the 2018/2019 school year.
