SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MacDill Air Force Base to improve on base educational programs and facilities at Tinker K-8 School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this MOU is regarding efforts of Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) and MacDill Air Force Base to improve on base educational programs and their desire to upgrade facilities at Tinker K-8 School through the Department of Defense Program for Construction, Renovation, Repair or Expansion of Public Schools Located on Military Installations.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Improve Student Achievement • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
HCPS funding for the twenty - percent (20%) matching share will be provided from the Local Millage fund.
