Adoption of Proclamation - Procurement Month, March 2020 <em><strong>(Business Services Division)</strong></em> |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
The National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, also known as NIGP, has designated March as the month to celebrate the public procurement profession. The underlying theme for all activities during Procurement Month is the promotion and recognition of the field of Public Procurement. Government procurement departments nationwide have been asked to take a proactive position to further the awareness of public procurement, recognizing the importance of the industry's assets. <br /><br />This agenda item is an effort on our part to support the initiatives of NIGP and to honor the public procurement profession.
