<p>Approve the Affiliation Agreement Between the University of South Florida (USF) College of Nursing, College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, and College of Public Health and The School Board of Hillsborough County (<em>Human Resources</em>)</p>
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
<p>Advanced Practiced Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, Medical, Pharmacy, and Public Health students who are enrolled in the selected health science colleges will be assigned to Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Advanced Practiced Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses and Physician as a Preceptorship for clinical practice at school clinics. The number of students, specific dates and school sites will be determined prior to the student&rsquo;s rotation. Students will remain with their assigned school district preceptor at all time. Collaborative learning with the goal of improving health in the community will be arranged with district Advanced Practiced Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses and Physician.</p>

EVALUATION
<p>We request for continued approval for Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) APRNs, MD and RNs to serve as Preceptors for clinical practice rotation for USF Health students. Learning experiences will be planned by HCPS Supervisor of School Health Services in conjunction with HCPS APRNs, MD and RNs in collaboration with the USF Colleges of Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Public Health faculty. Students will be accompanied by HCPS APRNs, MD and RNs as they incorporate students into their normal work schedule. All students will be supervised while they participate in school observations, health screenings, and daily activities at the school site. HCPS and USF Colleges of Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Public Health faculty will agree upon the number of students, specific dates, and sites before the student's clinical rotation begin.</p>
