<p>Approve the Agreement Between Sequel TSI of Florida, LLC (Sequel) and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida (<em>Climate and Culture</em>)</p> | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
<p>Sequel contracts with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to provide a residential commitment program for juveniles under the supervision of the DJJ at the Columbus Juvenile Residential Facility (JRF). The Columbus JRF is a 50-bed facility for boys who have committed non-violent sexual offenses. </p> <p>The District must provide educational services to these clients, and these services are provided on-site due to the students being incarcerated.</p> | |

<p>This program is evaluated annually by the Youth Services Department staff based on a model developed by the Juvenile Justice Educational Enhancement Program. This review will be completed by June 30, 2020.</p> | |
