| <p>Approve the Bus Routes for the 2020/21 School Year (<em>Operations Division)</em></p> | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| <p style="text-align: justify;">Florida Statute 1006.21 states that annual bus routes require authorization by the School Board. As of June 10, 2020, the District was able to maintain the same number of routes brought to the Board for the 2019/20 school year, 837, to be approved for the 2020/21 school year. This number of bus routes includes the estimated growth in the southern region of the district, but does not include possible additions that happen due to changes and/or additions to special needs programs. A copy of these routes will be available to over 83,000 families that are eligible for transportation services at the beginning of August 2020.</p> | |
