In addition, our district Mental Health team promotes mental health awareness, prevention, and intervention to students throughout the district by serving as consultants to families and schools as well as providing referrals to our community partners in mental health. Lastly, the district Crisis Intervention Team is available to support students and staff after the death of a child or staff member by suicide. Each Student Services team provides daily support to our students via services such as: individual/group counseling, classroom/large group in-service presentations, faculty and administration consultation, agency referrals, and implementation of a district-wide protocol for suicide assessment. </p> | |
