<p style="text-align: justify;">Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Phase 1 of the Classroom Addition at Dorothy Thomas School <em>(Operations Division)</em></p> |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
<p style="text-align: justify;">The addition of brick and mortar classroom space at Dorothy Thomas School is proposed to replace portable classrooms currently being utilized on the site. District staff selected Fleischman-Garcia Architects and Planners, AIA, PA and Skanska USA Building, Inc. to provide design and construction management services, respectively, through a selection committee. Award was made based upon the score granted by the selection committee. The project scope provides initial demolition and portable relocation.</p>
<p>Approval of the GMP will establish the cost for the relocation of portable classrooms and their infrastructure to make way for the new classroom building.</p>
<p>Project Substantial Completion for this phase of the work is scheduled for September 18, 2020.</p> |
