SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
<p>Approve the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County for Services Associated with the Implementation of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Promoting Adolescent Health Through School-Based Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Grant <em>(Academic Services)</em></p>
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
<p>This MOA will support the required activities of Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) CDC grant. Through this MOA, the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County will provide staff members to oversee the Youth Advisory Board consisting of high school students who will participate in the youth-led marketing campaign for sexual health services. In addition, staff will facilitate the meetings and work with the students to develop marketing materials and strategies to link students to sexual health services. Their staff will also track data for evaluation purposes such as website analytics. Overall, the partnership will help to create positive behavior change among students by increasing their awareness of risks, increasing their skills to seek needed and preventative sexual health services, and to increase their communication skills to trusted adults, such as a parent or guardian.</p>
