<p>Approve the Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) for Safe School Officers in Charter Schools (<em>Office of Innovation</em>)</p>
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
<p>Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act (SB7026) requires each district school board and school district&rsquo;s Superintendent to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to assign one or more Safe School Officers (SSO) at each school facility. The School Security Department trains and assigns School Security Officers to charter schools upon request.</p>

EVALUATION
<p>The Memoranda of Agreement will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure compliance with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act.</p>
