| <p>Approve the Increase in Expenditures for Request for Proposal (RFP) #17103-MST-MO HVAC Air Filters Full Service <em>(Finance Division)</em></p> | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| <p>On February 20, 2018, the Board approved RFP #17103-MST-MO for the purchase and installation of air filters with Pure Air Filter. Since then, in 2018, Pure Air Filter merged with BFC Solutions. At this time, the District is upgrading all district filters to MERV 13 through BFC Solutions. Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values, or MERVs, report a filter's ability to capture particles between 0.3 and 10 microns. MERV 13 filters provide a greater reduction of virus transmission and are recommended by both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.</p> <p>As a result of this upgrade, future expenditures have exceeded the amount originally estimated, requiring additional Board approval. </p> | |

| EVALUATION | |
| <p>Contract administration and evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (the "End User") and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team, by utilizing an online vendor performance report or via in-person reviews. The evaluation consists of an assessment of the vendor-provided goods and services, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements. The resulting data will support renewal decisions and/or alterations to a new agreement.</p> | |
