<p>Approve the Agreement for Technical Services 20159-ATS-IV with TNTP, Inc.<em> (Chief of Schools, Administration and Leadership Development)</em></p> |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
<p>Rooted in <em>The Opportunity Myth</em>, the 2020/2021 Principal Professional Learning Series is focused on helping principals build their instructional leadership and expertise. The objectives for this series include the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting principals to develop a shared vision of what it means to be a successful instructional leader and use data to improve instruction and the overall student experience in their buildings</li>
<li>Support the Deputy Superintendent, Chief of Schools and district leadership to centralize messages around effective instruction to ensure alignment across the schools in Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS)</li>
<li>Building principals’ knowledge and skills to be effective instructional leaders to bridge the opportunity gap in classrooms and improve outcomes for all students<br /> </li>
</ul>
<p>The scope of the work includes the following supports:</p>
<ul>
<li>A monthly professional development series, outlined below, facilitated within elementary, middle, and high school divisions and customized for each division.</li>
<li>Ongoing conversations bi-weekly with the Deputy Superintendent, Chief of Schools and district leadership to customize sessions and provide thought partnership on the scope of learning. </li>
<li>A train the trainer model, whereby TNTP will prepare Hillsborough district leadership to facilitate these professional development sessions with their district leadership.</li>
