EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The AIE Program provides equity and access for students by infusing and integrating arts experiences into the school day. Standards-based arts experiences and student instruction is delivered through performances, workshops, and residencies, via both in-school and field trip experiences. Additional learning extensions are offered through teacher resource materials. On January 23, 2020, the District's Procurement Department issued a Request for Proposal 20004: Arts in Education Program Instructors for the purpose of identifying and contracting with service vendors for the AIE Program. If approved, this agenda item will provide for the planning and scheduling of services and subsequent Agreements for Technical Services, as needed, in support of the district's AIE Program. The attachment details select offerings in the AIE roster.
