<p>Approve the Master Inservice Plan and Annual Update Letter to the Florida Department of Education Commissioner <em>(Academic Services)</em></p>
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
<p>The recommendation is in response to the Florida Law Part V School Community Professional Act, which sets forth requirements for educational training programs with further requirements stated in State Board of Education Rule 6A-571, which stipulates that the master plan for inservice activities shall be updated annually for approval. The Master Inservice Plan describes the professional learning experiences available to district employees in support of the district&rsquo;s strategic plan to develop and retain team members with opportunities for support and professional growth.</p> <p>The district&rsquo;s Master Inservice Plan was reviewed by the Florida Department of Education Professional Development System Evaluation Protocol Review Team from January 28, 2013, to February 1, 2013.&nbsp; All programs and components passed the review.&nbsp; The full Master Inservice Plan can be accessed at the following link: <strong>https://www.sdhc.k12.fl.us/doc/1083/profdev-mip</strong>.&nbsp;</p>
