| Approve Six-Month Agreement for Technical Services with the Tampa Bay Arts and Education Network (TBAE) to Provide Video Broadcast Services (Community Relations) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On January 12, 2016, the Board approved a 6-month agreement with TBAE for video broadcast services. It is recommended that TBAE continue to provide broadcasting services produced by Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS), including School Board meetings, Math Homework Hotline, Spotlight on Seniors, Best Kept Secrets, and other programming from August 2016 – January 2017 at a cost of $27,000 per month.
The artistic and technical services provided by TBAE are exempt from the bidding process, per Florida Department of Education Rule 6A1.012 (11) (a) Purchasing Policies. |
