Approve the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay (JATB) (Office of Teaching and Learning) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) and the JATB wish to enter into a MOA to launch Junior Achievement Finance Park curriculum in the classroom for the 2017/2018 school year. The students will be instructed at a minimum of 12 hours of classroom Junior Achievement curriculum before they visit the center for an educational capstone experience. The curriculum will guide them on career choices and personal finance to help them make good economic decisions. Additionally, students shall receive one hour of instruction after the visit to reflect on the capstone experience. The purpose of this MOA is to memorialize their understanding and commitments to one another with respect to the project. | |

Administrators from Junior Achievement and HCPS will meet to evaluate the scope of services and to make additional plans as articulated in the MOA. Aggregate student performance data will be utilized to determine the success of program outcomes. | |
