  • a safe environment, staffed with warm and caring professionals
  • a relaxed atmosphere where children can socialize and make new friends
  • a nutritious, healthy, substantial snack
  • time to work on homework with assistance, if needed
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration
This agenda item has no financial impact to the district.
Currently, over 1,200 afterschool professionals care for over 12,000 students each day during HOST.
