Approve Addendum 3 of the Contract from Cayen Systems for Cayen Afterschool 201 Perpetual Licenses to be Utilized by Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Out-Of-School Time (HOST) Program (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On June 14, 2011, the Board approved the contract from Cayen “Afterschool 201” software (A 5.40). On February 5, 2013, the Board approved Addendum 1 to approve the purchase of perpetual licenses (A 5.03) and on September 9, 2014, the Board approved Addendum 2 to approve the annual maintenance and support contract (A 6.04).
Included in this 2016/2017 annual maintenance and support contract, are the specific system, data, payment, and training features needed for updates and software enhancements. The parent portal will allow families to monitor, edit, and update their child’s HOST application. The online payment feature Dwolla was made available for parents in 2014. The total Dwolla payments made in 2014/2015 was $1,112,369, which was 7 percent of the total payments. The total Dwolla payments made in 2015/2016 was $2,370,721, which was 13 percent of the total payments. |
