Matching Funds Projects at 19 Schools:  Anderson Elementary, Bevis Elementary, Brewster Technical College, Chiles Elementary, Clark Elementary, Hunter's Green Elementary, King High School, Lake Magdalene Elementary, Lewis Elementary, Robinson Elementary, Robinson High School, Roland Park K-8 Magnet, Sessums Elementary, Shaw Elementary, Summerfield Crossing Elementary, Symmes Elementary, Turner-Bartels K-8, Walden Lake Elementary, Wilson Middle School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Matching Funds Program was established in 2001-2002 by the Superintendent to assist schools and their partners in raising funds for capital improvements by matching dollars in any amount up to $50,000.  On October 26, 2009, a committee comprised of elementary, middle and high school principals and the Operations Division met to review and update the program procedures to be effective for the 2010-2011 fiscal year (revised procedures attached).

• Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Total project expenditures are provided on the attached.

Expenditures are funded as follows:  A minimum contribution of 50% of the project cost and the balance from Millage Matching Funds, not to exceed $50,000.
