Highlight the Enhanced Cost Savings Communication Option for Families and Community Using Peachjar, E-Flyer Management System (Community Engagement and Philanthropy)
As a result of parent/guardian response on the School Climate Perception Survey (SCIP), when asked to choose their top preferences of communication, digital/email was given first priority. The school board approved Peachjar, an e-flyer management system district-wide in the Spring (May 2016) for implementation to begin at the start of the academic year (August 2016).  To date, the district has communicated 14,283 e-flyers, saving $240,999 (2,369.18 trees) using Peachjar to over 150,000 subscribers.

Peachjar offers our student families and community:
  • Ensure families subscribed receive important school and community information
  • Reduce administrative burden on schools
  • Peachjar digital flyer template library, includes English and Spanish templates
  • Track family engagement with metrics
• Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
District savings (March 2017) is $240,999 (2.5 cents per copy)
Community savings (March 2017) is $252,570 (2.5 cents per copy)
Total District/Community savings combined is $493,569
