Highlight the Enhanced Cost Savings Communication Option for Families and Community Using Peachjar, E-Flyer Management System (Community Engagement and Philanthropy)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As a result of parent/guardian response on the School Climate Perception Survey (SCIP), when asked to choose their top preferences of communication, digital/email was given first priority. The school board approved Peachjar, an e-flyer management system district-wide in the Spring (May 2016) for implementation to begin at the start of the academic year (August 2016).  To date, the district has communicated 14,283 e-flyers, saving $240,999 (2,369.18 trees) using Peachjar to over 150,000 subscribers.   Peachjar offers our student families and community: Ensure families subscribed receive important school and community information Reduce administrative burden on schools Peachjar digital flyer template library, includes English and Spanish templates Track family engagement with metrics

District savings (March 2017) is $240,999 (2.5 cents per copy) Community savings (March 2017) is $252,570 (2.5 cents per copy) Total District/Community savings combined is $493,569
