C11.03 - Contract Renewal Approval for New Springs Schools (Charter Office)
F.S. 1002.33(7)(c)1 permits the renewal of a charter contract for schools that have successfully completed their contract term in accordance with F.S. 1002.33(7)(a). New Springs Schools has successfully met the statutory requirements for contract renewal.
The district's process for contract renewal consideration includes the submission of a letter of intent to renew the contract, a comprehensive program review, an update of the charter application, and the development of a new contract.
Consistent with established procedures, a district review team assessed the school’s performance relevant to student achievement, finance, governance, administration, curriculum and instruction, and assessment.
Attached is a school profile and a report of the Review Team’s findings and recommendations. A fully negotiated contract is also attached. The contract renewal application is an original document submitted by New Springs Schools and will be Appendix I of the contract and is available for review in the Charter Schools Office.
