B7.07 - AMI Kids Contract for Meals for Fiscal Year 2020/2021 (Operations Division)

Description

AMI Kids has requested a renewal of their contract to purchase meals, both breakfast and lunch, from Student Nutrition Services for fiscal year 2020/2021. The Silo Culinary Kitchen will prepare and deliver meals daily utilizing USDA requirements. AMI is their own sponsor of the National School Lunch program and files their own claim.

It has been requested that the School Board be the first signer on this contract.

Gap Analysis

However, little research has been completed on the delivery of meals to AMI Kids.  Student Nutrition Services continues to prepare meals based on the needs of the program. Our delivery model is to give great customer service in a timely manner daily to our customers, preparing nutritious meals that meet USDA standards.

Previous Outcomes

Original contract was approved April 2018, and has been successfully implemented during past terms to provide breakfast and lunch to this site daily for their students.

Expected Outcomes

Upon approval by the board, we expect our SNS Culinary Kitchen to continue preparing and delivering quality meals daily as the original contract was awarded.

Extend renewal as follows:
