B7.15 - Approve Acceptance of Project for Fire Damage Demolition at McLane Middle School (Operations Division)
On July 19, 2019, fire damaged Building Number 600 at McLane Middle School. District staff selected Master Consulting Engineers, Inc. and HCBeck, Ltd. dba The Beck Group from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services, respectively, to demolish the damaged building. The scope of work provided for the complete demolition and removal of this building and reconfiguring the site's covered walkways.
The design professional has certified that the work is now fully complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.
