B7.14 - Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Referendum (Year Two) Project at Webb Middle School (Operations Division)
The District's referendum advertisement provided for partial heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) replacement. On October 29, 2019, District staff selected SGM Engineering, Inc. and Specialized Construction Services, LLC to provide design and construction management services, respectively, through a selection committee. Award was made based upon the score granted by the selection committee.
Approval of the GMP will establish the cost for the project.
Project Substantial Completion is scheduled for August 1, 2020.

Completion of a major mechanical, fire alarm and painting project resulting in energy efficient HVAC systems, improved safety and enhancing the student experience on campus to facilitate learning at Webb Middle School.

* Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
Approve the GMP as prepared by Specialized Construction Services, LLC, representing the design provided by SGM Engineering, Inc.

The GMP recommended for approval is $4,724,865, which is available in the Sales Tax Referendum fund.
