B7.03 - Approval of the Release of School Concurrency Proportionate Share Development Mitigation Agreement for Rhodine Road Subdivision (PI#4343 and #4804 and School Concurrency #555 & #652) (Operations Division) 

Description

The School Board entered into a School Concurrency Proportionate Share Development Mitigation Agreement with the applicant, Ridgewood, LLC, at the August 20, 2019, meeting. This agreement was transmitted to Hillsborough County where it was assigned Developer Agreement number DA 19-1083 and approved by the BOCC (Board of County Commissioner) at their October 16, 2019, public hearing. This agreement required the applicant to pay $863,568 to address the need for elementary school and high school capacity within the Dawson Elementary School and Riverview High School attendance boundaries. This agreement addressed a total net impact of both projects, which includes 89 single family detached dwelling units generating 17 elementary, 11 middle school students, and 12 high school students. The applicant contributed funds on December 20, 2019, thereby satisfying their requirement to construct the elementary school and high school seats.
