According to Florida Statute 1013.28, The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, authorized the Superintendent to dispose of real property if said property was deemed surplus and unnecessary for educational purposes. District staff has identified School Board property located at 2411 E. Minnehaha Street, Tampa, Florida, (Parcel Folio 150916-0000) as surplus and is no longer required for educational purposes. The site was previously owned by a charter school.
Two property appraisals were performed, and they valued the property at $515,000 and $545,000, which the average establishes the sales price of $530,000 per Florida Statute 1013.28.
