B7.05 - Approve Award of Contract for Roof Replacement at Wimauma Elementary School (Operations Division)

Due to roof deterioration at several schools in the District, it is a necessity to replace these roofs as soon as possible.  District Staff selected C.B. Goldsmith & Associates, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.  The scope of work includes a partial roof replacement at Wimauma Elementary School.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation and recommendation). Award of contract for construction to the lowest qualified bidder, Southern Roofing Company, Inc., is recommended
