B7.03 - Approve Acceptance of Project for the Referendum (Year 1) Project at Lithia Springs Elementary School (Operations Division)

The District's referendum advertisement provided for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), stage equipment replacements and exterior painting  at Lithia Springs Elementary School.  On February 5, 2019, District staff selected SGM Engineering, Inc. and Specialized Property Services, Inc.  to provide design and construction management services, respectively, through a selection committee.  Award was made based upon the score granted by the selection committee.

The design professional has now certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

* Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health

* Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning

Approve the Acceptance of the Referendum at Lithia Springs Elementary School.
