B7.22 - Approve Acceptance of Project for Temporary Portable Classrooms at McDonald Elementary School (Operations Division)
As part of a recent security assessment, District staff selected Renker, Eich, Parks Architects, Inc. and Batson-Cook Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants List to provide design and construction management services, respectively. The scope of work provided for the installation, hook-up and furniture installation of temporary portable classrooms at McDonald Elementary School.
The design professional has now certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.
* Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
* Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
* Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
