B7.04 - Approve Change Order No. One for the Covered Walkway Replacement at Shaw Elementary School (Operations Division)
On April 28, 2020, District staff selected R.W. Tymewell, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultant list to provide construction management services. The project scope provides for the demolition of existing wood canopy structure, high and low service at the canopy and electrical/low voltage service redesigned and installed underground at Shaw Elementary School.
The increased scope of work for this project includes fabrication and installation of additional aluminum frame awning systems. As the cost of the change order exceeds 20% of the original construction contract amount, Board approval is required.
A time extension of 10 days is included for completion of the additional work.
