SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Memorandum of Agreement with the Bucs Care Foundation to Implement Multiple Educational Programs and Supplemental Extracurricular Activities Provided by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Glazer Family Foundation, and Affiliate Partners (Outreach & School Improvement)  
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Bucs Care Foundation has supported HCPS since December, 2013. The partnership supports twenty-four schools, out of which twenty are Title I schools. This agreement will provide, but will not be limited to, the following programs:
  • Writing Journals
  • Reading Challenge via myON Digital Reader
  • Contests
  • Cheer Chats
  • Tickets to the Future
  • Game Day for Kids
  • Vision Mobile
  • Player Appearances during physical education
  • Spirit Night                  
Through this partnership, our students will be exposed to out-of-the-classroom opportunities while engaging in programs and activities that enhance their academic success and experiential learning. Included are supplemental programming opportunities which may include: Turkey Time with the O-Line, Thanksgiving Meals, Hometown Huddle, NFL Play 60 Challenge, Cheer Camps, United Way Suncoast Day of Caring, Behind the Scenes tours, Holiday Card Contest, Player Summer Training experience, among others. 
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The overall financial impact of this partnership exceeds $200,000 annually in programming alone.  This does not include grants or special projects.  For instance, Cheer Chats will generate a total of $1,991.61 for HCPS in salaries, custodial supplies and utilities for the use of the space.
EVALUATION
Participating school administrators will be surveyed at the end of each school year to provide feedback, enhancements, and recommendations.
