EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
In November 2003, the School Board approved a License Agreement with Junior Achievement, Inc. (JA) for property located on North 22nd Street in Tampa. In April 2017, the School Board approved and entered into a First Amendment to the License Agreement with JA that expanded the site to adjacent lands to allow for an addition to the Junior Achievement building (Exhibit A). JA is in the final stages of completing their financial requirements to develop the addition utilizing New Market Tax Credits for the construction. As part of the financing, JA is requiring a Sub-License Agreement between JA and Junior Achievement Finance Park Tampa Bay, Inc. and then another Sub-License Agreement from Junior Achievement Finance Park Tampa Bay, Inc. back to Junior Achievement, Inc. The School Board must consent to these two Sub-License Agreements for the financing to move forward. |
