The grant from the Felburn Foundation will provide funding in the amount not to exceed $50,000 to support the salary and fringe benefit costs for one additional new instructional staff member at Nature's Classroom. A temporary employee contract will be valid for the 2017/2018 school year only. Additional year contracts may be offered pending the award of additional grant funding each year. The project number for this initiative will be established when the grant funds are received by the School District.

Approve Grant Funded Memorandum of Agreement with the Felburn Foundation and Nature's Classroom (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Nature's Classroom was awarded a grant funded by the Felburn Foundation. The goal of the grant is to fund the hiring of one additional, new instructional staff member for the 2017/2018 school year effective October 4, 2017, through May 31, 2018. The Felburn Foundation will compensate the School District for an amount not to exceed $50,000 during the grant period.
