| Approve Agreement for Technical Services Which Provide Services to Florida Instructional Materials Center for the Visually Impaired (FIMC-VI) (Educational Access, Opportunity, and Alternatives Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| We request the approval of the Agreement for Technical Services for Mary Stoltz, Inc., to provide onsite training, hardware, software, and networking support specific to the needs of the FIMC-VI. This includes hardware assistance and recommendations related to computers, braille embossers, tactile imager enhancers, and printers that use braille transcription software. The provider will share multi-faceted knowledge of hardware, software, and website activities. This includes assisting with the transition to Microsoft 365. FIMC-VI is a statewide resource center assisting Florida's schools with the specialized materials needed by students with visual impairments and those with print disabilities. FIMC-VI operates under the Florida Department of Education/Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (FLDOE/BEESS) through an annual grant agreement with Hillsborough County Public Schools. | |

| Funds in the amount of $60,000 will be available in the divisional special revenue/federal programs budget. For tracking purposes, the project numbers specific to this agenda item are 3317 and 3403. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| As required in the Additional Assurances included in the 2017/2018 Project Application, quarterly data reflecting all project activities will be reported and maintained in the FLDOE/BEESS Tracking System. All technical services and support facilitation activities will be evaluated quarterly based on timely delivery of reports, number of activities completed, and the quality of deliverables. | |
