Approval of Bus Routes for the 2018/2019 School Year | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Florida Statute 1006.21 states that annual bus routes require authorization by the School Board. As a result of the change of bell times, the District reduced the number of routes from 882 last year to 842 routes this year. This represents an estimated cost reduction of $2,759,821, which has been reduced from our budget for the 2018/2019 school year. A copy of these routes were mailed to over 83,000 families that are eligible for transportation services at the beginning of August 2018. |
