Recognition of Nine Magnet Schools That Received National Recognition as National Certified Magnet Schools of Excellence (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Only 106 of the nearly 4,300 magnet schools across the country have been designated as National Certified Magnet Schools of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America.  We are so excited that nine National Certified Magnet Schools of Excellence are right here in Hillsborough County Public Schools.  These nine schools have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the five pillars of magnet school education.  In addition, they have gone through a rigorous two-year process of demonstration, reflection, and documentation of their commitment to the five pillars.  It is an honor to be in such a selective group of schools.
