Approve Acceptance of Project for Stage Lighting Renovation at Tampa Bay Technical High School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The existing stage lighting system in the auditorium at Tampa Bay Technical High School was not operational and required replacement.  Unallocated maintenance funds were available to fund the required replacement.  The project scope provided for replacement of the existing lighting and control system with new LED lamps and controls.

District staff selected KBA Engineering, Inc./Tanase & Associates from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.  On February 2, 2016, the Board awarded a contract for construction to D&S Electrical Technologies, LLC.

The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.
