EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The 1996 Florida Legislature adopted an amendment to Section 24.121, Florida Statutes, requiring local school districts to make available to the public a report displaying discretionary lottery revenue and expenditures. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, Hillsborough County Public Schools received and expended $755,585. Lottery funds are used to: •Develop and implement school improvement plans •Support the School Improvement Program •Enhance existing funding to charter schools |
