Approve a Perpetual Access Easement and Temporary Construction Easement From the School Board of Hillsborough County to Hillsborough County for the Construction of the Future Partnership Library at Muller Elementary School 

In November, 2013, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, a body corporate, conveyed 1.70 +/- acres to Hillsborough County adjacent to Muller Elementary School, as the future site for a County public library facility and will serve as the media center for Muller Elementary.   Hillsborough County will be starting construction in the near future has requested a perpetual access easement onto School Board property from North 22nd Street onto Victor Crist Boulevard and a temporary construction easement to build a canopy from Muller Elementary to the new library building.  These easements will be presented to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners on November 2, 2016.

County and school district staff are continuing to develop an agreement for the operation and maintenance of the media center, and the conveyance, joint use and maintenance of the existing stormwater retention ponds and will present these documents to both the Board of County Commissioners and School Board at a future date.

Granting the Perpetual Access Easement and Temporary Construction Easement to Hillsborough County to move forward with the construction of a County public library facility and to serve as the media center for Muller Elementary School, will have no financial impact to the School Board of Hillsborough County.
