Approve Termination of Contract with ICan Charter Academies, Inc. (Charter Office)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Board of Directors of ICan Charter Academies, Inc. has been unable to locate and secure a facility to operate their school. The contract was approved by the Hillsborough County School Board on May 2, 2017. Florida Statute allows for up to 3 years of deferral when opening a charter school.  The charter school board has exhausted all 3 deferrals. A Termination Agreement is attached.
