Annual Report for the Interlocal Agreement for School Facilities Planning, Siting and Concurrency
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In August 2016, the School District, City of Tampa, Temple Terrace, Plant City, Hillsborough County, and the Planning Commission modified the Interlocal Agreements (ILA’s) for School Facilities Planning, Siting, and Concurrency to eliminate the annual Hillsborough Council of Governments (COG) joint workshop.  The revision also adjusted the frequency of the required staff representative meetings from quarterly to annually, and incorporated an annual reporting requirement to describe the effectiveness of the ILA and any amendment recommendations proposed in the annual staff representative meeting.  The School District staff is responsible for preparing and distributing the attached annual report summarizing the status of the ILA elements to the School Board, local jurisdictions, and the Planning Commission.
