B7.11 - Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Referendum (Year Two) at Gibsonton Elementary School (Operations Division)
On February 5, 2020, District staff selected Phoenix Engineering Group, Inc. and Allstate Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services, respectively, through a selection committee. Award was made based upon the score granted by the selection committee. The project scope provides for partial heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), fire alarm system, exterior painting and roof replacements, and drainage improvement at Gibsonton Elementary School.
Approval of the GMP will establish the cost for the project.
Project Substantial Completion is scheduled for July 30, 2020.

Completion of a major mechanical, exterior painting, fire alarm replacement, roofing and drainage improvement project resulting in energy-efficient HVAC systems and a water-tight and safe facility, thereby enhancing the student experience on campus to facilitate learning at Gibsonton Elementary School.
