|
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On November 1, 2003, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida entered into a License Agreement with Junior Achievement, Inc., a Florida not-for-profit corporation, to develop an Enterprise Village and associated programs in the University Area at Muller Elementary School. Junior Achievement constructed the Village on School Board property along 22nd Street in Tampa and now desires to expand the facility. The attached First Amendment will include the additional 18,000 square feet facility expansion on approximately 42,547 square feet land being conveyed by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners to the School Board as approved on December 7, 2016. Junior Achievement will be required to submit all proposed improvement plans to the School Board's Florida Building Code Manager for review, approval and permitting. School district staff has worked with Junior Achievement to have due diligence requirements performed on the additional land in order to meet building standards and regulations. All other terms and conditions of the 2003 License Agreement will remain the same and be adhered to by both parties. The executed First Amendment to the License Agreement will be held in escrow by the School Board until final closing of the land conveyance from Hillsborough County to the School Board. |
