District Discipline Progress
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This workshop will provide district staff and the School Board the opportunity to review current discipline data and hear an update on the district's progress using the discipline matrix and school systems that create safe, supportive, and equitable discipline practices in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
