SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Acceptance of Project for Transportation Administration Facility at Harney Road
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Administrative office space was required at the Transportation Department complex at Harney Road to improve Department operations and provide space for activities currently housed in obsolete portables.  District staff appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for the new administrative annex. The project scope included demolition of six portable buildings; construction of a 9,400 square foot permanent administrative building; and correction of existing stormwater retention issues at the site.

The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.
